Hello again, friends,
I hope you are all doing well. I just wanted to write in not to create a typical article, but to offer some words of encouragement during the tough times we are all facing right now with the pandemic.
This past day or so, I have been feeling extra sad as I see the news flooded with the rise in cases and mortalities associated with the coronavirus. To see how quickly the virus is spreading throughout the United States and world is extremely scary to me.
I know that it's hard to abandon all of our normalcy right now and remain indoors, but it is truly for the better good. The low impact of social distancing may even feel discouraging at times with more cases emerging hourly. Just know that by remaining at home, you are helping many, many individuals who may not be the picture of health. You are saving peoples' parents and grandparents, patients with cancer, and those who have weakened immune systems, and that is a beautiful thing, so please don't feel discouraged. You ARE making a difference by following the rules, even if it is hard to see right now.
As a society, we must take things one day at a time and remain optimistic that things will soon get better. Sure, you may feel alone right now, but truly, we are all in this together. We are all facing the same uncertainty, grief of the loss of our normalcy, and fear of contracting the virus. We are strong, and we got this. Things will eventually look up and we will all be left with a greater sense of appreciation for the things we once took advantage of.
Please stay well. Whether I know you or not, I am praying for you all that we remain strong and get through this, which we will with time.
Thanks for reading!
Take care,
Charelle
